  • 10 chicken tenderloins
  • ½ cup honey , divided
  • ¼ cup yellow mustard , divided
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard , divided
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Dash cayenne pepper , optional


  • Preheat oven to 425°. In a small bowl whisk together ¼ cup honey, 2 tbsp yellow mustard, 2 tbsp Dijon mustard, and the black pepper.
  • Grease an 8x12 baking pan. Arrange chicken tenderloins in a single layer in the pan. Pour honey mustard sauce over the chicken. Cook uncovered for 25 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°.
  • While the chicken is cooking, mix together the remaining honey and mustard in a small pan. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally. When the chicken is done cooking, remove it from the pan. Pour simmered honey mustard sauce over the chicken and serve.
