I have a whole week’s worth of deliciously cozy dinner ideas for you to make this week! I’ve done all the work for you – from planning this week’s dinners to putting together a grocery list. It’s all done! Just sit back and relax and add the grocery items to your pick up order as you watch Netflix tonight! You’ll be so happy you did.

This meal plan includes 7 dinners, side dish suggestions, and a Sunday night dessert! Each recipe in this week’s meal plan is seasonal for this time of year. Cozy and comfort food recipes for cool weather.

These recipes are ones I really love! They’re so tasty and delicious and you and your family will be looking forward to dinner every night.

Allergen and Dietary Information

All of these cozy dinner ideas are allergy-friendly! They are all free from wheat, eggs, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, and sesame. The dessert does contain pecans but you easily just leave those out!

Two of the dinner recipes are meatless but many of them have meatless versions you can choose if you wish!

What Cozy Dinner Ideas Are on the Menu?

Monday

Main Dish: Creamy Vegan Butternut Squash Pasta with Roasted Broccoli

Yum! This recipe is one of my favorites. Plus it’s one of the few ways my kids will actually eat squash – the one food all 3 of my kids dislike. This pasta dish is full of a delicious creamy sauce and a triple dose of vegetables!

Side Dish: Gluten-Free Biscuits

Tuesday

Main Dish: Scalloped Potatoes and Ham

Scalloped potatoes and ham was one of my favorite dinners when I was a kid. I was a huge fan of potatoes – I grew up in the Midwest where we love meat and potatoes! This recipe is a remade version of the classic comfort dish that doesn’t use any dairy but is still smothered in a creamy sauce. I love creamy sauces this time of year! They’re so cozy!

Side Dish: Steamed Green Beans

Wednesday

Main Dish: Taco Soup

Wednesday is the middle of the school/work week so it’s always the day I save the easiest recipes for. I need a super easy weeknight recipe to recharge. This Taco Soup is the easiest cozy dinner idea. I swear. It’s my favorite recipe to pull out at the end of a long day when I want something to warm me up without spending a lot of time in the kitchen. This dinner comes together in just minutes!

The recipe includes both a meat and meatless version! For the meat version you can choose any kind of ground meat you like – beef, turkey, or chicken!

Side Dish: Cornbread and Salad

Use bagged salad or a gluten-free cornbread mix to make it even easier!

Thursday

Main Dish: Dairy Free Chicken Broccoli Casserole

Another comfort classic from my childhood! Except this one is a healthier version made without any gluten, dairy, or canned cream soups – but it still has all the delicious cheese flavor you crave. Bonus – this recipe is a no bake version so it’s done even quicker and easier!

Side Dish: Seasonal fruit such as pomegrante, persimmons, oranges, or apples

Friday

Main Dish: Tomato Basil Pasta (Meatless version)

This recipe can be made with or without the sausage. I have it down for the meatless version to give you two meatless nights a week. However, you can certainly make it with the sausage if you want! Just be sure to add it to the grocery list at the end!

Side Dish: Steamed Green Peas

Saturday

Main Dish: Honey Mustard Chicken

Another creamy sauce! And this one is so easy. It takes minimal prep work, like super minimal, and is all done and cooked in 35 minutes! Use chicken tenderloins for the super fast results. You can also use chicken breast but it will increase the cooking time.

Side Dish: Green Salad

You can make the salad yourself while the chicken does it’s thing in the oven or you can use bagged salad for a super easy dinner.

Sunday

Main Dish: Slow Cooker Beef Stew(with vegan version)

We’re ending the week with another classic cozy dinner recipe. I love beef stew and I love it even more in the crock pot! I often use my slow cooker on Sundays so I can focus on spending time with my kids rather than standing over the stove. You can leave out the beef and sub in extra potatoes for a vegan version.

Side Dish: Gluten Free Dinner Rolls

Dessert: German Chocolate Cake

As I mentioned earlier, this recipe does contain pecans but you can easily leave them out for a nut-free version!
