Fall is in the air, and if you are anything like me, then you are looking for the best recipes for fall! Fall is my very favorite time of year and once there’s even a hint of it in the air I want all the soups, pumpkin muffins, and butternut squash things! Yum!
I live in southern California so I often have to pretend it’s cooler outside than it really is. But that doesn’t stop me from making and eating all the recipes for fall weather that I can! My deep love of fall inspired an idea recently – to host a Food Blogger’s Fall Food Fest on Instagram. I got together a group of fellow food bloggers, including myself, and we spent two weeks sharing delicious fall themed recipes on Instagram.

1. Creamy Vegan Butternut Squash Pasta with Roasted Broccoli
The recipe for fall I shared for the #fallfoodfest was a deliciously creamy vegan pasta. This pasta dish is smothered in a delicious butternut squash sauce and boasts tasty seasoned and roasted broccoli and butternut squash cubes.
The sauce is dairy-free, as all my recipes are. I use a gluten-free pasta that makes this recipe top 8 allergen free! This pasta is the perfect recipe for fall comfort food. It will not disappoint!

2. Chicken Parmesan Soup
Soup is probably my favorite fall food! I love soup and this one from Mom, the Lunch Lady is absolutely divine. It’s full of chicken and a flavorful tomato-based broth. It comes together quickly so it’s a great recipe to make on busy nights!
This soup does contain dairy but it is easily substituted with vegan mozzarella shreds and vegan Parmesan cheese if you are dairy-free. Additionally, skip the croutons or make them from a gluten-free bread if you need a gluten-free options.

This recipe is vegan and therefore already dairy-free. It does use flour tortillas but you can easily replace them with corn tortillas for a gluten-free version. Lightly fry the corn tortillas in a little oil before filling and rolling so they don’t beak on you!

12. Gluten-free Plum Maple Donuts
Maple is another classic fall flavor and one of my very favorites. I love anything with maple! Peonies and a Latte combines maple and plum together to create a perfect a fall inspired donut recipe! These donuts are delicious and pair perfectly with a glass of hot apple cider! They’re also quite easy to make and are a healthier version than most donuts! They bake right in the oven rather than being fried in oil – but they don’t lack any flavor!
This recipe is gluten-free and dairy-free but it does contain eggs. You can make this recipe egg-free and vegan by replacing the eggs with flax eggs. To make one flax egg, mix together 1 tbsp of ground flax seed with 3 tbsps of water. Let sit for about 5 minutes or until the mixture resembles the consistency of an egg.
